Thanks! Agreed. Wish another 2D one as good had come after it. We don’t talk about Other M, and Dread was too focused on twitch action rather than exploration. Metroid Prime’s been carrying the torch.
Other M is trash but I personally loved Dread, especially since the devs didn’t patch out speed running tricks and sequence breaks like retro does. Still refuse to play any version of metroid prime except for the OG 2002 release on gamecube since a lot of things got patched out in the players choice, trilogy and remastered versions.
Still all Metroid is great!
