Ah took me too long to realize it’s a focus on commuting to work. Not really aimed at remote workers
We’re also looking at remote workers to find needs for a micromobility device outside of commuting! Especially as this will impact cost and accessibility of the devices :)
Are you saying remote workers should do the poll? Some questions don’t seem applicable. Like how many hours is your commute each day and how far.
If you have at least one experience of commuting then we would appreciate you filling it out as best as possible!
If you wouldn’t mind, could you provide some more information about your group, the college this research is being conducted under, how the data will be used, and perhaps a way to verify that this survey is indeed genuinely authored by the group at Georgia Tech?
I personally do not like to fill in surveys with potential PII unless I understand where the results are going. I hope you understand my concerns and apprehensions.
Hello! I totally understand your concern. My group is part of the senior year Georgia Tech interdisciplinary Capstone in order to graduate. We have a few mechanical engineers and industrial designers on our team and our prompt is partnered with General Motors to focus on the “Young urban professional commute during their last mile in cities” as part of our project we’re instructed to condut surveys to see the trends in current commuters in the cities. I hope this helps and I can assure you we aren’t collecting any personal data or anything scary with the results we we wont be able to see any personal information with Qualtrics!
