EDIT: To be clear, only the across clue contains two wholly separate words. The down clues are identical save for the one letter where they pass through the across.

      Well 7/12 of those are right, well done! Apologies though, I should’ve been clearer… only the across letters are different (imagine this fitting into a full-size crossword; it would be far too immense to have the rest of the answers be two-way too! Maybe one day I’ll make one though…)

          You got them all apart from 4d, which is very much the hardest. I hadn’t even heard of one of the words before researching this. If you want a not-too-easy clue, >!for the word you’ll definitely know, it only fits if the bagpipes are being played well!<

    BONUS CLUE

    I initially had a different one for 5 down, but the perfectionist in me didn’t quite think it 100% fit. I wouldn’t mind feedback though seeing if people agree with that assessment
