    Whenever I pull out the vacuum, I do a little 5 min routine where I warn them and do a little vacuum fake noise.

    I think it works. My cats no longer have a lot of panic when I vacuum, and one even decides to get close to it now.

    My guinea pigs will jump if I sneeze in another room but if I’m vacuuming their cage I have to push them away from the vacuum because they want to try and chew on it.

    My cat is not at all bothered by vacuum, he just sit on table and fall asleep while I am cleaning.
