Let’s keep rising in the ranks!
The AustinFC subreddit was one of the few that kept me on the site, really excited to find this community. Excited to bemoan Rigoni and sing the praises of Owen Wolff with all of you :)
Excited for tonight’s match! Wonder if the new defender on loan will get some minutes, definitely need some solidity back there after losing Rado.
Ha! I was thinking the other day that, other than his DP status and salary, it’s tough to bemoan Rigoni with him getting very few minutes lately. :D
Edit: And he scores one at the end!
Our offense has generally looked better of late (glad Finlay is finally starting over Rigoni), but lord help our CBs. Ring is good at cleaning up messes, but he’s not as good at marking and maintaining a flat line as we need. Cascante isn’t the best transition marker either, so we are going to be very vulnerable on crosses until we plug that hole. Here’s to hoping we pour in goals and put things out of reach early!

Up 2-0 at the half even with some pretty sloppy defense… hope we can hold on!
We did not play as well as the stat line but we’ll take the 3 points and the rise in ranks!
