“When the West talks about everything, it’s liberal, secular, democratic. Only when it comes to Israel, it’s biblical.”

During an interview with the BBC aired on 16 February, Egyptian-American comedian Bassem Youssef criticised the West’s support for Israel and emphasised that as an American citizen he wants US President Joe Biden to lose the 2024 presidential election over his pro-Israel policies and refusal to end the war on Gaza.

    I did not know that Biden had the power to end that war. Perhaps Trump can also end the Russian Ukrainian war?

      Presidents can start wars (proxy wars), without congressional approval, I wonder if they can end them without congressional approval…
