The whole first age was full of awesome characters.
I thought the estate was refusing to allow adaptations from anything in the 1st age.
Oh, well. I wonder why they let Amazon ruin the second age, them?
My understanding is that second age canon is very thin in terms of copyright so Amazon had latitude to make up a lot of stuff. Which they did. Poorly.
