There are small calm crashing waves at low tide, with the afterglow of the sunset in the distance, and a faint outline of a stone jetty and the tip of Dana Point visible off to the right. The sky is clear blue with a few low sparse sea clouds around the horizon. It looks like a cloud mass is around 30 miles off shore near the horizon, but those are the channel islands and mostly Catalina Island. There are a couple of empty picnic tables at the bottom of the image and a couple of lone palm trees silhouetted on the right in the foreground framing the perspective.

Image two is also from this same park in Dana Point California as the sun sets with a few people present on a paved path behind the beach, walking or at some picnic tables. The beach is wide here with a lot of sand. There are a lot of palm trees and eucalyptus off in the distance with the sun setting behind them. There is a seagull flying across the image as well.
