This from the Westover AFB show recently? I caught very nearly the same photo. It was such a good show, and the Lightning is so impressive to see live.

It is interesting to see how far military aviation has come in just under 70 years in a side by side in-flight photo.

I was expecting a P-38 Lightning

They’re both stunning. Like putting an old Ferrari or Porsche next to a new one. But I suppose I’d take the F22, if you’re forcing me to choose.
