I hope the left learns from this and stops kowtowing to the argument that they’ll get “blamed” for Democrats loss and therefore shouldn’t make any demands.

I’ve been saying this all along. Vote blue no matter who just guarantees your interests won’t be addressed. We owe our votes to no one, make them earn our votes with policy.
