Just moved from VA last year where we also had pollening, but nothing like this. My lord.
Video is from my security camera which apparently the IR light does a fantastic job of illuminating the pollen that is just thick in the air here.
Yeah, our car becomes yellow every spring.
We have pollen drifts like snow drifts on our front porch*. Apparently pines are one of the bigger offenders when it comes to pollen and unknowingly we moved to the middle of a pine forest. It may not be this bad state wide…
*This is only a slight exaggeration
We are next to a small pocket of woods, so it might be the same with us. I’ve seen this flurry in my cameras as well, and I always thought it was snow or dust. Had no idea it was pollen
It definitely looks like snow; but it’s well above freezing. I thought it was gnats at first but eventually it got to be too thick to blame on gnats 😂
This isn’t even bad yet. Give it another week or two! Sometimes the news helicopters will give the view from just a couple thousand feet up and you can clearly see there’s just clouds of the stuff, like a yellow fog covering the land.
I can feel allergies coming on just watching that. Yikes.
