Second Wave has an interesting genre; free-to-play online multiplayer hero-based shooter MOBA. That’s quite the mouthful.

They could have squeezed in ‘puzzle roguelike visual novel souls’ like while they were at it!

Heh, yeah it’s a mouthful, but technically “Online multiplayer hero-based shooter MOBA” is Overwatch, right? So going with the trend of game-like genre name, it’s a free-to-play Overwatch-like.

I’m excited about Sea of Stars. I enjoy turn based RPGs and I love the art style on this one

Really excited for the new Axiom Verge. I loved the first one. One thing I don’t understand though - it’s iD@Xbox so it’s their own publishing company for indie games, correct? Why are they not on Game Pass then when all their first parties are

They aren’t published by Xbox, and aren’t first party games. It’s just a list of games coming to Xbox.

You’re right! For some reason I always thought it’s Microsoft’s offshoot to publish indie games

That’s a pretty nice list. The games that look interesting to me:

    • Axiom Verge 2
    • Everspace 2 (Everspace has good review, is well liked, Everspace 2 seems to be better in all way)
    • Hellboy: Web of Wyrd
    • Monolith: Requiem of the Ancients
    • Mythforce
    • Scarlet Deer Inn (such a beautiful art style!)
    • Sea of Stars
    • Vampire Survivors
    • Wordless
