    Even if he gets replaced as prime minister, his replacement would undoubtedly come from his party Likud since they still control the most seats. And they would surely form a coalition with the same right-wing parties.

    It might slow the genocide, but it will not stop it. And it certainly won’t do anything to repair the damage already done.

      The last prime minister that had negotiated a peace deal was assassinated. Pretty dangerous to be an anti-war candidate over there.

    NYT is being a bit opaque, mixing different types of protests. i think it’s important to highlight these protests are about saving the hostages, not stopping genocide. a majority of Israelis people support the genocide/colonization. That’s why they moved there.
