    I think it’s usually the other way around. Some suburban guy whose never touched grass buys a cowboy hat and he’s suddenly a good ol’boy never meanin’ no harm.

        Listen if you’ve ever been from the suburbs you’d know exactly why everyone from them constantly is looking for anything else. They are devoid of culture or community in a way that they really didn’t have to be. An area between rural and urban could’ve been a beautiful combination of the two instead of the land of the petty tyrant forbidding culture. Small towns surrounding cities with easy transit into the urban center should’ve been what these were

    Ha, jokes on you. When I lived in Texas the hat and getup were part of the city just as much as the country.

    That being said the local swimming hole was a well maintained pool and the roads were all connected to tolls in some form or fashion so we didn’t exactly need to worry about brain eating bacteria and mud trapping our cars
