I’ve found that when I’m faced with infinite possiblities, it’s difficult to think of new things, sort of a “paralysis through analysis” type of thing. I found this great site which lists out artistic techniques and a ton of other things to try out.

Andrei Kovalev’s Midlibrary 2.0

For example, I saw in the library how cool paper cut outs could be with Midjourney, so I tried paper cut out, female samurai and iterated a ton of times and got the image I’ve attached, and I adored how it turned out.

What are some of your favorite artistic styles which have teased out the best results from Midjourney?

That link. You are a prince.

E: I’m filled with the joy of fine tuning a SFW image. I’m so happy to not be trying to get Bing to create images of things covered in cum. Thanks!

I’m glad to have helped! I’ve have so much find trying out ideas and mixing them with different artistic styles! I’ve been upscaling the good ones, saving them as JPEG and uploading them as wallpapers:

I’m working on a similar scam rn. I’m finding each element (like background, out of focus midground, foreground, borders, etc.) in almost random styles, the good ones go in a folder. I’ll go back later and group the images that could passably go with each other, generate any gap fills I need, and arrange it into a poster.

You should follow midlibrary.io on instagram too. He posts a new style with examples every few days. I’ve found it very inspirational.

For example he highlighted zhang kechun a few days ago and I’ve been having a lot of fun with that style.
