Either this was taken in the daytime or that’s one hell of a flash bulb.
Also, baby bats are called bits, or at least they should be.
It’s a daytime pic - some bats like to go out during the day, which is pretty cool.
That is not an image I would have expected to see today.

I don’t see the pregnancy… how do you know this bat was pregnant?
It was labeled pregnant by the photographer, so I guess there is no real way to confirm, but if you look at her belly, you’ll see that it’s bigger, and her nipples are enlarged. That’s a pretty good giveaway.
