I haven’t watched all of our last games, but from what I saw Trossard has been on fire. Seems a strange question, maybe that’s why it got the “eat a bag” response from Mikel?
Tbh our entire left side has been consistently a bit mid recently I feel, but Trossard has been clutch in moments though not much outside those? I may be just biased or smth though, cuz I do love martinelli lol
We don’t have the same service afforded on the left as much. I have felt our left/Martinelli is quite isolated. Saka gets a lot of obvious service, but that’s also because Ødegaard favours that side and white runs the overlap.
If zinny plays, he’s usually servicing midfield. Then, you have Kiwior who is more defensive minded.
Which kind of leaves Martinelli out on his own a little to counter using pace, try get into areas to receive the ball or when play switches over to the left.
