Madamore’s residential units are nearly fully leased, but much of the commercial space remains vacant, and the development lacks structured parking, meaning it can only offer residents one parking space per unit, even two-bedroom units, in attached surface lots. Residents without spaces must park on streets or in nearby commercial lots.

    I find it odd they can’t get those storefronts leased. What is the issue? Too high of rent or…? Plenty of potential customers literally above and around them.

    I think the idea of building more and building freaking surface lots should be a nonstarter too. No reason for surface lots pretty much anywhere in the city. Want parking? Put it in a garage.
