We already have a name for that. It’s this revolutionary thing called “video”, which this fucking is because it’s a god damn mp4. MP4 is one of the most common video formats.
We’re really living in strange times. I feel like things used to be videos, and people turned the videos to GIFs, but the GIFs starting getting too big so we MP4’d them, and now people are out here saying this is a new format. My 30s have aged me much more than just 30 years.
If the RealMedia format makes a comeback I’m moving to a shack in the woods.

The video player in Lemmy-UI really needs the loop feature in the playback settings. At least I’m not seeing the option via Chrome or Firefox for Android.
