What fucking pretend world do they think we live in? Did republicans make food more affordable and I missed it? Did they hold corporations accountable for price gouging, shrinkflation, or the false claims of inflation?

The people falling for that shit live in a world they created. Confirmation bias, constant cortisol production, economic doom and a dash of victim complex and voila.

Both sides are trading rights away. Abortions are clearly a step above and deserves the attention, but the DNC and progressives love to ban and censor shit. Y’all tried to ban soda, sugary food, banning TikTok, guns. Can’t buy a small cheap vehicle, that would be unsafe!

This place really will try to “both sides” anything, huh?

The tiktok ban was bullshit but it was bipartisan and more new restrictions on guns where introduced under Trump then under Biden, not that I think it’s either of their faults that’s not what they oversee.

Anyway I’m not really sure what your point was other than muddying the waters

Oh, it’s progressives banning books and defunding libraries. Gotcha. Yeah yeah, tiktok is a silly thing to get the ban hammer, but it’s the old peeps in both major political parties doing that.

Feel free to get yourself a moped. Doesn’t get much smaller and cheaper than that.

      You’re so full of shit

You can thank the CAFE standard for that. Enacted in 1975 under a republican president - Ford. That said, it was a democratic congressional super majority that passed this.

CAFE set to make the world better. Corporations figured out how to game it. The Lexus RX350 convinced the public to buy crossovers, but it was the PT Cruiser that convinced the corporations to make them. The PT was classed as a light truck under CAFE due to cargo space and footprint, massively swinging to fleet economy of Durango and Rams. Then they dug down with the requirements by making everything an “off road” vehicle. Ever notice the massive overbite of the NX200? It barely manages a 28deg approach angle, helping class it as offroad (along with departure, breakover, body ground clearance, and axle ground clearance).

Y’all tried to ban soda, sugary food,

You say “ban” in an attempt to mislead. Advertising one of the leading causes of death specifically to kids and parents is illegal in many civilized places, and should be illegal here. There’s a reason we have such an obesity epidemic.

      banning TikTok,

Pinning something Republicans have tried doing since Trump on Democrats is laughable.

      guns.

The most anti-gun presidents have been Republicans – many egregious weapon/attachment bans have been passed by Trump and other Republicans, meanwhile Obama was pretty pro-gun…

Can’t buy a small cheap vehicle, that would be unsafe!

IDK what the hell you’re talking about here but progressive politicians and moreso leftist politicians are the ones usually pushing for lowering vehicle size and emissions. Republicans have always been a puppet to the auto & oil industries (just look at PragerU and Louisiana), which benefit from selling larger and more expensive vehicles.

You bootlickers really need to come up with something better than “but my soda :(” if you’re going to try and both sides the termination of rights for women’s healthcare

And yeah buddy, Republicans HATE giant gas guzzling trucks and SUVs, really pinning the Dems down now

Both parties signed away our right to privacy with the new FISA legislation, but a larger percentage of Democrats voted for sweeping surveillance than Republicans.
