Leonard Chess signs Chuck Berry to a recording contract after he came highly recommended by Muddy Waters. Most of Berry’s hit records would be recorded for Chess between 1955 and 1966, including “Maybellene”, “Roll Over Beethoven”, “School Day”, “Rock And Roll Music”, “Sweet Little Sixteen”, “Johnny B. Goode" and “No Particular Place to Go”.
