Reform UK is doing well in the areas where it has fielded candidates - and nearly beat the Tories into second place in Blackpool South.

The swing of 26% from the Tories to Labour was the third biggest in a by-election since 1945.

That’s the problem for the Tories - they are losing votes to the Right and Left. If they try to appeal to one aide they alienate the other and, even with the Reform votes, they still wouldn’t have won Blackpool South.

Yeah but during GE run up. Farrage will agree not to run in seats where tories stand a chance.

His purpose here is to run where right tory supporters are turning against tories. Preventing them from giving labour a clear win.

“Labour’s slightly left of me, Reform is to the right, here I am, stuck right of middle I’m screwed.” - Rishi Sunak, probably.
