Biden/Trump are the duopoly that will keep the status quo going, even after they are gone from the limelight, we have major systematic problems.

Presidents have power, but not when it comes to state and local police, that’s by design.
When Portland was turned upside down by 100+ days of protests in 2020, we were VERY pissed at Teargas Ted (Mayor Wheeler). That was HIS fault, not Trumps, with one very, very narrow exception:
