That got me right in the 9600kbps modem nostalgia. Not the picture but the waiting to load face.
I’ve been getting that from some of the images on slower lemmy instances. You open an image and it loads slowly. Line. By. Line. Never thought I’d be nostalgic for the 56k days.
During the day my internet speed fluctuates between 0.2-2Mbps so I get that all the time. Though at night and early morning I can get up to 30Mbps. Currently it’s 5:55AM so I am still getting 17Mbps.

At that time most of the internet used interlaced images to avoid this.
