Would be amazing if, after getting a cavity, you just have the tooth pulled and grow a new one.
Imagine getting a 3rd set of teeth
Third? I want annual teeth. Like every winter my teeth all fall out and a new set grows in.
Imagine the unlimited cashflow from the tooth fairy
It’ll pay for itself
What you really want is for us to figure out how to stop cavities forming in the first place. Also, annually sounds incredibly unpleasant! Maybe once every decade?
I have a weird nostalgia for the whole process of losing a tooth. The relief when you finally get it out and then the awesome feeling of running your tongue over the hole. Lol
As someone who’s on the verge of needing dentures, I find this intriguing.

That’s super exciting! Imagine saying goodbye to fake teeth and actually growing new, natural ones. It’s like something out of a sci-fi movie. I read that this could help millions who suffer from dental issues, especially those who’ve lost teeth due to injury or disease. Just think about the implications for overall health, too. Healthy teeth are linked to so many aspects of our well-being. Japan’s really leading the charge on this one! I can’t wait to see how the trials go and what this could mean for the future of dental care.
