Yeah I’d ban anyone that participates there as well.

I don’t think that locking people into bubbles is good for anyone, anf if you think that your bubble is the correct one then you should welcome a wider audience.

What a bullshit response. It’s not a bubble because you don’t want bigots spreading hate speech in your community. Fuck off with that Nazi sympathizer attitude.

What people post in that sub disagreeing with the nazi sympathisers? What if people change their minds? Nothing will change if we are all walled off from each other, we will just become more polarised. I don’t want to live in an echo chamber.

No one who sympathizes with Nazis changes. Oh no, we’ll become more polarized! I should try to befriend the people that want to see me dead. Fuck off.

Banning individuals from participating in a subreddit solely because they engage in discussions on another subreddit is not only unfair but also a violation of Reddit’s terms of service, which emphasize the importance of open dialogue and diverse perspectives. Such actions undermine the principles of free speech and the spirit of community that Reddit strives to uphold. Moreover, moderators should be able to handle disagreements and debates constructively rather than resorting to censorship. If moderators are unable to engage in healthy debate themselves, it raises questions about their suitability for the role.

Reddit does not “strive to uphold” free speech and the “spirit of community”. Certainly not anymore. The only mildly infuriating thing here is your expectation of good faith from anything reddit related. People on Lemmy are frankly tired of hearing about how bad Reddit is.

You can contact the mod team by replying to the message, but if you reply to the message saying anything but that specific phrase, it will be ignored and you’ll be muted.
That doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Bigots whinging about getting banned “for no reason” is more cringe, and possibly the result of no one near them gifting a bitchslap at any point in their pseudo-development. 🤪

I think policing what someone does somewhere that has nothing to do with you is super lame. Like, you shouldn’t be able to do that.

I’ve had subreddits pull this shit for having posted in benign subreddits and they act high and mighty like “RENOUNCE YOUR EVIL WAYS OF PARTICIPATING IN /R/WAFFLES” or whatever and like, fuck off? I’d just filter any sub that did this if I still used reddit.
