I think I saw once in Wordle’s stats that most people started with “adieu”. I wonder if most started with it or picked it up as they played.
I start with “audio” based on looking at the wordle bot. I like it because in hard mode when I get hits on it it’s easy to find a word to try the last vowel “e”.
RAISE came up a few weeks ago and I also don’t plan to change to a new starting word

December 19, 2022 was SLATE, the one word everyone agreed was a good starting word by every possible measure. I got SLATE in 1/6, and a lot of other people did, too.
Ugh, funny story. I used to start with TRAIN. After months of playing, it never came up. So one day I decided to start with something else. Of bloody course, what was the word that day? Fucking TRAIN 🤬
Haha, yeah i was quite happy that i was actually playing that day and not had the occasional miss. Wasn’t mad at all that i didn’t really get to play that day.

I got it with my usual start SNAIL. It a was a glorious day. I don’t even play it every day so it was pretty likely that I would just miss it anyway I’m very happy I happened to do it on the day it was my starting word.
It was PIANO. But after I got it, I switched to TRUCE.
I keep waiting for Ghost to show up, but I have no idea if it’s already been chosen.
Hmm. I don’t remember having ghost yet either.
MOUSE. Once it came up, I swapped it to the second place.
