    Well that sucks.

    I maintain a few useful packages targeted for use on Pi. I strongly suspect that if Raspberry Pi goes private sale, I’ll drop support for Pi before long (and focus on alternative cheaper single board computers). I only support what I use, and I don’t use enshitified products for long. But I guess we will see what happens.

      I really wish there was another US-sphere manufacturer for SBCs. I don’t really trust chinese boards or any board manufactered by a company with no legal liability in the US for that matter.

    I hope this brings economies of scale that bringe better value to customers, but I fear it will bring a shortsighted mindset that will reduce value for customers.

    I hope employees get some benefit of the IPO windfall too.
