Dude is rapidly approaching, not following commands from a single officer, has a gun, and is shouting “fuck you” at the cops at 2am after a domestic dispute was called in.

    Dude was aggro as fuck.

Why the cops didn’t simple state that, I don’t know. I don’t think the shooting was out of order though.

There is no justification for the shooting. Failure to follow orders and shouting obscenities, even while carrying a weapon, doesn’t justify murder by police. This is another case of their blatant incompetence/malice when dealing with any tense situation.

In a just society, a cops job would be able to de-escalate and resolve the problem as cleanly as possible and with as little use of violence as possible. We don’t live in a just society though, so the cops just shot him and lied saying he aimed a gun at them to justify their murder. Meanwhile, white mass shooters are taken alive and given Burger King for their effort if they hurt the right people.

I shoot everyone who walks up to me. Even Especially the smiling ones. Why should I risk my life if their smile is fake and they really want to shoot me?

Yeah, approaching the cops, who are there because someone called in a DD on you, with a gun in hand will only ever end badly.

It’s like walking through the Alaskan wilderness with a jacket made of salmon poking polar bears with a stick and getting surprised when you’re eaten.

There should be no other acceptable response for terrorists storming your property at 2am. Defending the use of such tactics makes you scum.

If only 1 non police party has a gun, they aren’t going to use it to shoot a popo that doesn’t have a gun. Escalation causes incidents.

He raised his gun. That’s what a witness told us. And we didn’t trust our officers when they said he didn’t. In fact, we went with witness over what the officers knew to be true because it provided cover for an unjustified killing.

In fact, let’s drop the charade. The officers all had an “oh shit” moment after the murder and colluded to lie about him raising his gun. We only invented this witness account after we were caught in a lie. Btw, we need more funding
