Dude Jord was incredible, turned me onto the band as a whole
Hell yeah! I like to call it slamming tech death. There’s some hints of it from other bands, but this band just hits that mark so well.
I like that take! I’m used to watching out for slam influences in deathcore, less so for tech death. Any other recommendations in the same vein?
Don’t know any bands that slam like that constantly like soreption does. There are some really good slammy moments from other bands tho! A couple examples would be some of the beginning and the middle of The Zenith Passage - Simulated Reality, and also some moments from their new songs, also most of the first half of Born of Osiris - Put To Rest.
Edit: If anyone knows any other slammy tech death like soreption please post it, I need more!
