    That looks fantastic! Remember not to scratch or peel the flakes off. I find slapping helps me through the worst of it

      Oh I’ve been slapping up a storm. Today seems a little less itchy, so maybe not too many more days.

    It puts the lotion on the skin, or it’ll need the needle again.

    no scratchies! but gentle pats are acceptable! moisturizing will help relieve the itchiness.

      Antihistamines can help too.

        there’s really no need to take possibly dangerous pharmaceuticals when a little lotion or aloe vera can do the trick.

        antihistamines are designed to fight histamines, that is allergens. itchiness from dry skin (from a healing tattoo) is not an allergic reaction, so treating it with allergy medication isn’t appropriate and exposes the patient to unnecessary risks from the drugs in the medication.
