It’s pretty stupid to be sure the verdict doesn’t matter. If Trump had said something bad about the Milwaukee Brewers and also the Detroit Lions and this had kept 20,000 Trump voters at home in both WI and MI… He would have lost the 2016 election.
All it takes are a few thousand people in a swing state suburbs to be like “yeah I’ll stay at home”.
The GOP can stay rest assured that 20% of Americans will never abandon him, but he really needs 30% of adults to vote for him and another 40% to stay home. Conviction of cheating in 2016 isn’t helping.
