While many will frown upon the behaviors of many Juggalos out there (and in many instances, rightfully so), it is generally accepted that Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J (the creators of the Juggalo aesthetic) are genuinely some of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, with Violent J even famously having a fursuit created for him just so he could go to furry conventions with his daughter because it’s something she’s passionate about.
I don’t really care for ICP myself, but every Juggalo I’ve encountered has been the most open-minded, welcoming person I’ve ever met.
I guess it’s like the Marilyn Manson effect; scary or dark aesthetic that shocks normies (TBF ICP has some of the strangest, grossest songs and lyrics ever), but in the end it’s all entertainment and an act–i remember seeing Manson interviewed in Bowling for Columbine speaking so eloquently, empathetically and clearly about what real violence and fear being dumped on Americans was (he was singled out, along with Beavis and Butthead) for what was wrong with 90s kids. It was obviously true to people not braindead on local news at the time but in retrospect was just the consequences of 80s cutting education, social services and concentration of wealth and power that impoverished American families.
Yeah that was a good interview.
Too bad about everything they came out a few years ago though
Also similar to the way members of The Satanic Temple are looked at, as well as their beliefs overall. Just because we use Satan as a symbol, we must be evil.
Yeah any juggalos that I’ve met have been really good people, supportive and open minded.
Hell, when violent j’s daughter came out as a furry he had a suit made for himself https://www.avclub.com/violent-j-went-to-a-furry-convention-in-an-icp-fursuit-1830823096
Fr juggalos are awesome people. They dont give a fuck about what anyone does - if you wanna be your true self, go hang out with juggalos and you’ll be accepted all the way. Just bring Faygo.
I can smell this picture.
