Soon, everyone a user likes on X will be hidden by default.
the upcoming change is meant to protect users’ public image — because “many people feel discouraged” to like “edgy” content
“edgy” is the word you’re going with, huh?
right, because loving Hitler and being super-into fascism and genocide is just considered “edgy” nowadays…
🙄
It’s just another Tuesday for MAGAts.
for fans of the electoral college! Nice! Modern! Exciting!
Trying to make shitty opinions appear to be more prominent than they are is exactly the sad type of gymnastics I expect from these types
great comedy, awful reality
Pesky votes getting in the way of spreading an ideology.
Aahhh just the likes? not the entire X(itter)?
I mean now that you can’t see shit without being logged in, they already sort of did that for a lot of people.
Whyy?? I don’t even use Twitter/X but someone make that make sense.
My theory is that it gives Elmo a way to promote authoritarian and anti-LGBT tweets without making it obvious that the algorithm is politically based to align with the platform owner’s views.
What, who the fuck even uses that thing, who gives a shit?
My 8 year old niece texted to say she is going swimming with her friends tomorrow, equally valuable information for all of you.
Suddenly “the court of public opinion” isn’t a good thing anymore, it seems.
Now Elon can like his favorite OF creators without anybody knowing it’s him.
I’m excited for them to fuck it up and leave them vulnerable and I expect to see some very telling like changes over the couple days after they roll this out
