I guess they are trying to merge Chrome OS and Android
It would save money as they are trying to cut costs.
Yes managing one OS is easier.
Makes it easier for them I suppose. It’s not like there’s going to be a lot more x86 Chromebooks
Because the Android kernel is know to be well maintained and secure.
ChromeOS doesn’t get much attention and resources from Google currently. No major things has happened since Crostini, and the planned separation of the browser from the system hasn’t happened yet. So I don’t expect to see results of these news anytime soon. It’s a matter of a decade.
