Okay. That’s an interesting statistic.
Even if we take this number at face value, this is over a 20 year period, and worldwide.
Americans waste more than $408 billion each year on food, with dairy products being the food item we toss out the most. The average American family of four throws out $1,600 a year in produce.
Yeah 75% of my library of 1500 games is from humble bundles, so paying like 10% of regular price.
Still a neat stat though.
I feel it would be a lot more useful as trivia if we knew how much money that was per person as well.
And actual bought price, I think it used current market price. So lots of old games are going to be extremely undervalued.
Yea I bought one humble bundle (some earthquake relief or something) and now I have like 150 games I will never play…
Of course i do, it’s my retirement plans. Play all the games i now have the time to :D
Just don’t end up as the this guy
or Futurama’s version of itHahaha that would be perfect, come back in ~33 Years we’ll see : p
You’re joking but this is literally a plan I have
If it makes Steam stay at #1 and stimulates development of titles we respect it’s worth every penny.
And if some indie dev lasts a little bit longer because I threw away a few dollars, i’m all for it
It’s ok, I balance it out by playing some games I’ve never paid for.
It’s okay since I only buy games on sale … oh wait, that doesn’t matter as they still sit unplayed. Never mind.
…yet
And I’ll keep spending. You can’t stop me.
And I helped
Dunno how I feel about being part of that statistic…
im doing my part
I’m doing my part! 💪
I’m doing my part 07… for Lord GabeN
