Yes I too like everyone on Reddit got the AliExpress Shell. But my PSP Go was white and I kept the Buttons.
The overall feel of the shell is OK, the face the best and it gets worse as you move in. It’s not as ridged as the original and it’s way to glossy. But since I was never a fan of the white PSP Go, I am happy with it’s new look, and not disappointed in how it feels.
Word of warning though, do not attempt this without prior experience taking apart hardware. It took a lot of disassembling and reassembling to get everything to work again. The screen was the worse.

Thats great. Its always hard to make the third party shells feel and look comfortable, its a sience of finding which original parts work and look well with the replacements. Glad you found your sweet spot. I found a nearly perfect replica of the psp 1000 shell in ali express, but didnt have the cutout for the wifi antena, so of course I had to mix and match. Results were ok, but I do feel your struggle
Yeah, its also a mix of the original case too. Buttons shoulder buttons and soon switches will the from the original system. The fit and finishes wasn’t the best on these parts. Especially the M2 door which disintegrated within the first day
