It’s really incredible to try and picture the reverse of this process.

I know when I leave something on the porch for too long and it gets that “earth film” which we have to clean off next time we use it.

If I never cleaned it off and waited 5000 years, it’d be in a paleontological dig site and the peeps wiping it down would be like >‘oh wow they were using cannabis back then too?!’
