They didn’t ask because genocide is a US government thing, not a president thing. Good luck being against the industrial military complex AND becoming president of the US.

You could also claim that serving the rich is a US government thing and not a president thing. Does that mean our votes mean nothing if the president is filtered through a system that only selects for a particular set of policies?

There are some common policies they have to play ball with, and commonly shared interest like Israel. You just hear about them less.

Im not saying it shouldn’t be questioned, it’s just not a great top 5 you want to send to your boss because both candidates will avoid the question/lie

No it is a president thing. Biden approved the weapons shipment. It was not voted on.

What I’m saying is Biden wouldn’t have become president if he wasn’t already someone willing to sign these. Both parties always do. Rules for Rulers

No party has ever bowed down for israel this hard. There are instances of israel putting on the Genocide hat before and it has always been shut down after a few thousand innocent Palestinians were murdered.

Ok there, you might want to go read that again. Biden can barely shove money in for Ukraine because they need to agree with conservatives about sending to Israel. It’s the entire machine that wants this, youre just putting it all on Biden to make you feel better. If you didnt make shit up, you might not be so angry

I wanted to respond to people on Mastodon hyping this propaganda with a question about the 500 pound bombs and how it would ever be a win for Biden to stop a genocide that he armed. Democrat centrists spout the oddest bootlicking shit.

The Biden crowd is now saying we need to keep Biden as candidate because he is tough on Netanyahu and he is doing a great job reigning in the Genocide.

I did not think this level of cognitive dissonance was possible for Democrats. Usually they need a semblance of reality but it’s Blue MAGA is full steam ahead.

They have defended Biden through all the Genocide, it seems they genuinely don’t know how to react to anything in another way than unconditionally defending Biden anymore.

Even when it’s obvious they need to swap him out or he will lose to Trump. Blue MAGA doesn’t want to win they just want Genocide Joe.

Anyone they swap in will also be “mildly concerned with but still selling arms to and defending Israel,” as this is what the backers want (or are too afraid to back away from).

Nobody in the party is as ideologically driven by Zionism as Biden. The entire career of Genocide Joe has been to shill for israel at every turn possible for like 50 years straight. Biden is by far the biggest recipient of AIPAC money as well.

I would never have imagined a Democrat going this mask-off racist to support obvious Genocide. The normal Democrat reaction would have been to tell Netanyahu to cut it off after he massacred a few thousand Palestinians instead of throwing the entire election for israel.

This is why the world hates you. “Funding a genocide” is nothing more than few problems?

As long as you get your guy elected, funding a genocide is a cursory problem.

Despicable human beings to the core.

The few problems seem to be quite big.

Taking on a country as president is extremely difficult in itself. Taking on two countries that hate each other to the bone is a whole new level. The US is extremely divided, and in December its going to be divided even more, no matter the result of the election.

Republicans want to use this situation and turn your country into a dictatorship.

Democrats don’t respect the scale of this problem entirely by re-running an old, mediocre president because of tradition, or some other bullshit, thinking that same ol’ is gonna do the trick this time too.

Anyone with a working brain is gonna vote Biden. But some people still need convincing and fuck, Biden isn’t very convincing.

That’s right, the economy is also fixed and the housing crisis too.

If it was “hold the nose and vote for Joe” again Biden would have had a shot. But it’s way worse now. He barely beat Trump last time.

But if Democrats believe Biden has leeway to shoo away swing voters because he wants to see brown people in a concentration camp get Genocided… they might be slightly overconfident.
