    My favorite part of Monkey Island was when I had solved the puzzles that lead Guybrush to the isle of the maddened gibbon, when suddenly tryhard Monkey Island pro players take down his sail, sink the ship, and make me restart the game.

    I don’t get it, is this an expansion of Sea of Thieves settled in the Monkey Island environment?

      Yes, basically. They’ve actually already had a Disney Pirates of the Caribbean questline, complete with Johnny Depp voice acting.
