Williams boss James Vowles has warned Carlos Sainz that it doesn’t want to serve as a’stepping stone’ in a Formula 1 driver’s career as he weighs up his next move.

Sainz is continuing to hold up movement in the F1 driver market as he contemplates concrete proposals from Alpine, Sauber/Audi and Williams to obtain his services.

In my opinion Vowels needs to stop getting high off his own supply. He may believe in his vision, other(s) clearly don’t.

Williams cannot even field two complete chasis in a season, which cost them the development race this season, and now they are only above Kick"I am just holding this place until Audi comes"Sauber.

Sainz is a multiple race winner and has shown that he can adapt to different teams, cars and engineers(Torro Rosso, McLaren and Ferrari) and provide good feedback and get points .

Williams needs driver(s) who can get them more points(more money from the constructors prize) which this team really needs and he can get them some sponsors as well.

The longer this goes on, the more I think Sainz is vastly overestimating what his worth is to most teams.
