Matt Doherty is due for a medical today ahead of his proposed return to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Ireland international has agreed to a Molineux comeback three years after he left for Tottenham Hotspur.
The 31-year-old, who previously spent a decade with Wolves, is expected be confirmed by the of the week as the club’s second signing of the summer after third-choice goalkeeper Tom King.
Doherty is a free agent this summer following a short spell with Atletico Madrid at the end of last season.
