    What I don’t get is that the goods are highly substitutable, and the demand can’t be that high, here here is 4 acres of fucking purple onions.

      Can’t speak to Nigerian cooking, but onions are a staple crop in this household.

      Just bought 4 more green onion bundles because we eat the tops faster than they can grow.

      Onions are stupid easy to grow, packed with nutrients and there are 1,000 ways to cook with them.
