      If you haven’t already I recommend you go ahead and get her a donut. We got a donut for the dogs when our second one got neutered, and one for the cat. The cat ended up with an abscess in his jaw a couple years later, and I was very grateful to have a soft thing to protect that area with from the very beginning.

      The one for the dogs has also been used again twice, for hot spots, and it was nice to already have it on hand. You never know when these lovable dumbasses are gonna get hurt, is all I’m saying.

      I love how these donuts are so comfy that they can be used casually for over-itching/licking. I’d feel so cruel putting a regular cone on my dog just for over-licking. But the donut, while it annoys him, isn’t so traumatic, or feel like as much of a punishment. Plus they can sleep with them on! Making them sleep in a cone is damn near heartbreaking.

      Whoever invented these donuts is a genius.
