Has anyone still in the Liquidator Expedition managed to get one of the new insect helmets by killing a Vile Queen? I’ve seen people on YouTube do it with Normal saves, but I am wondering the Expedition saves are bugged (pun intended). I’ve been farming for a while and gotten nothing. Maybe I’m just unlucky.

I had no idea about this. I have fought 3 and one vanished while killing it.
ETA: my brother said it is obtained by consuming juicy grubs on different planets.
Yeah, you crush the juicy grub and it makes the Vile Queen attack. Supposedly the queen drops the different helms but I have killed SO many and gotten nothing with my expedition save.
According to dotesports, they’re a rare drop from Broodmothers.
I’ve literally killed around 3 dozen. Nothing so far. I just wish I knew I wasn’t wasting my time.
Yeah, I don’t know if we’ll ever get specific drop rates, but it could be like a 1% or lower drop, meaning that you might have to kill thousands to get the one you want. Fortunately they’re not too hard, and I definitely defeated a few in my normal save, so it looks like they won’t be restricted to the expedition.
Rookie here… what do you mean with normal accounts and whats an abnormal account?
When you start a new save, there are different game types you can choose like Creative, Suvival, and Expedition. They each have their own rules and settings. In this case when I say Normal, I mean the default game type and specifically not an Expedition.
