I keep hearing about this guy and read about him and have no idea what the hell he does or is doing. Can someone ELI5 it for me. Or explain it to me like a child?
MrBeast is the most popular and successful YouTuber to date. He holds contests that I feel encourage people to do stupid things that he finds funny, but insult the person doing them.
I also feel like people look up to him as some sort of Godfather-like figure where they both seek his approval and fear his wrath.
Regardless, he is very rich and he makes no bones about showing off how rich he is. I would not consider him a good influence for children.
I’ve always found it amusing that I’ve been using YouTube for hours and hours every day for well over a decade yet I haven’t finished a single video from the most popular creator on the platform.
I’m on YouTube all day long and never heard of him. Maybe once, I think Donut guys were doing some bus-jumping stunt with him.
