A Texas man has been arrested and charged with hiding explosives under toilet seats at Bexar County car washes that went off and injured three people, one of them a child.

Police said that Paul Moses Alden booby-trapped toilet seats with commercial fireworks at two car washes. The booby-traps were desisgned to explode when pressure was applied, KENS reported.

Investigators said surveillance footage showed Alden going into and then leaving the restrooms, then watching from the lobby until the explosions took place and leaving the facility.

Employees said they identified Alden because he was a regular customer who had a membership card.

I didn’t realize Florida moved to Texas, but okay…

Hope the victims will be okay, that’s messed up!

This dude watched a child enter his booby trapped restroom to use it and watched it explode.

Back when I was a kid we would take party snappers (those things you could throw at the ground and make a spark…they came in boxes filled with sawdust) and tape them under a toilet seat to scare my much older cousin. It worked every time. She’d drop the lid and they’d go off but there wasn’t enough to hurt anyone.

What in the hell was he rigging toilets with to actually hurt people that’s causing explosions when pressure is applied?
