A masked Israeli soldier, accused of participating in the rape of a Palestinian prisoner, revealed his identity in a video posted on social media, appealing for support from the Israeli public.

Israeli Channel 12 obtained and broadcast a leaked surveillance video allegedly showing Israeli soldiers sexually assaulting a Palestinian prisoner at the Sde Teiman detention centre in the Negev desert.

Several Israeli soldiers, who were working as guards at the base, are under investigation for the abuse of a Palestinian prisoner.
