The OP is from lemmy.world and has a long posting history. I get that infighting sucks, but it was the default suggestion for a little bit, it’s got a broad and diverse group of users. Plus, I’ve had two other accounts get lost due to the instance shutting down, so a reliable general use instance makes sense for me. I imagine the same is true for others.

.ml is a Tankie haven .world has 2 far right posters that spam their garbage constantly and get banned fairly regularly when the community points out the BS, and 1 far left poster that ruins it for the rest of us. Other than that you’ll find the majority of this huge, diverse community to be leftist and/or pro-Democrat.
I’ve not been on this server for long and this is how it seems to me based on the wide array of data available.
I understand this point of view, and welcome it. If you read the sidebar, you’ll notice this community is open to any political ideology. The goal is to promote and foster discourse so that we can better understand each other’s perspectives.
