Just finished this. Can’t believe I’ve never seen it. Thanks. Growing up, always heard not to talk about politics and religion. Always thought that odd. That’s exactly why we should talk about those subjects. This video explains why.
There are lots of people who I disagree with that I don’t call tankies. But I’m not going to try to have a civil conversation with a lying hypocrite who wants to purge me.

I’ve never watched Vaush, so I’ll abstain from commenting on him. However, I think this method of Unity-Struggle-Unity with critique and conflict resolution is something we should all strive for. I want to better understand other ideologies on the left, and that can’t be done without healthy discussion
I agree. My son watches him and it frustrates me. He’s obviously intelligent and makes a lot of well thought out great points. And then he goes and supports NATO unironically. He does a lot for the trans community and advocates for socialism. But NATO?
From what ive seen he only supports nato against china and russia, but opposes it outside that context. ive watched him a few times, and have had heavy exposure to his fans, so i have a decent grasp of his opinions.
That conveniently aligns with Americas interests.
Oof, supporting NATO is a pretty wild socialist position. Is he from the imperial core? I have a suspicion that his support comes from liberal propaganda and a lack of critical analysis
MLMs have been doing this “self-crit” stuff for a long time now… and , despite this, they are still MLMs.
Not exactly great results if you ask me.
